I'm in!!

1. Because I believe God has laid it down in His word as a command to all Christian parents.
2. Because it allows me to cater for each child's individual bents and character traits.
3. Because we get to spend time building relationships with our children instead of just being a taxi driver.
4. Because I get to do school over, learn more and enjoy a second childhood :-))
5. Because we get to raise magananimous children through exposing them to the needs of this world in a safe home and loving relationship instead of in the "school of hard knocks."

Blessings

Wendy...Glad(?) to see that I'm not the only one who sends e-mails in the middle of the night? Could it be that it's the first quiet time we get all day??!!

Loved your answers...And great contest, Christine! I'm working on my thoughts as I'm sitting at a learning center waiting for my kids to finish state-required standardized testing. (I wonder who decided to make this mandatory testing week right after we moved our clocks ahead because of the time change?!)

Writing (and yawning),
Debbie

Hi Debbie

No, it's not in the middle of the night - I live in South Africa which is why the times are all wonky on my posts :-) I am normally in bed by 9.30pm!

Today while I was working with my little guy doing pattern blocks...I gave his sweet soft neck a great big kiss...I thought that had to be another good reason - I get to kiss and cuddle my kids all day!!
