I heard one time there was an online evaluation you could give your child to see "where" they are and "what" they know in math. Does anyone know where to find a test like this?

I know someone here is going to have a more generic answer, but I know that many curriculum providers have placement tests, like Math-U-See, aceministries.com. Is that what you were thinking of?

Saxon also has an evaluation. You can also pick up a scope & sequence from the local school admin office. I've gone online for things like "ninth grade math proficiency" and many results will pop up. You might also contact a local college or just pick up an old math book that the school has disgarded and see how well your child does...
