Most of the snack ideas that are given on the snack cards are relatively easy and in-expensive this year, so if your director got the super sampler, you should check with them to get those ideas. They really are the best I've seen for a VBS recently.

There are great suggestions on the snack cards, but if you need more, check out the idea bank on our Outrigger Island website.

The cards are also in the smaller sampler, I believe. There are some really good inexpensive choices this year. I've been doing snacks now for about 6 years. You can also just get the cards at Lifeway or check with a nearby church and share.

I don't care for the recipe card. They are harder to keep up with. And, I like for the snacks to go along with the lesson for the day. I really liked the recipes but didn't care for the format.

I agree with scvivis! I like for the snacks to go along with the Bible story each night. The recipes are great, but I also like to reinforce the Bible story with the snacks! And I also prefer they be in a book form instead of the cards!
