Anyone here dealing with haircoloring, piercing or tattoos? What are your standards, or what have you done?

One of my daughters is into piercings and hair coloring, but not to the extreme. The girls have their ears pierced, and one of them has a second hole in her ear. She wants to get her cartilage pierced but we are making her wait until she's 16. Then that's the end of the piercings until she's 18. We don't allow piercings of any other body part, so if they decide to do that they'll have to wait until they're adults. Once they're teenagers we let them experiment with hair color, but only with the temporary stuff. So far none of them have wanted to do anything too strange (no blue hair or anything like that) so I'm okay with them trying different colors, as long as they look pretty natural. Right now one of my girls has reddish hair which is not her natural color, but it really looks very nice. None of them has had any interest in tattoos, but if they did I think we would make them wait until they are adults, then make that decision on their own. I figure hair color is temporary (it either washes out or grows out), so letting them experiment with that is pretty harmless. Piercings can be a health risk if they go too far with it, so that's why we limit them to only ear piercings until they're older. Since tattoos are permanent, I wouldn't allow that with a child or teenager. I guess basically, if it's temporary and safe, we let them try different things. But if there are health risks or if it's a permanent thing, they have to wait until they're adults before they can do those things.
