Has anyone had their child do a dual enrollment with a local college? How did it work out for you? How involved did you get in the homework assignments for the college class? Do you totally leave it up to them, or nag a little?

Sorry, I haven't done this yet. But I hope someone else answers. We plan to try this next year. My oldest daughter wants to take her ASL credits at the community college. I know many people in our homeschool group have done this and it worked well for them.

We hope to try this in the next few years. I do have some hs friends who have been very pleased with this arrangement.

Well, my two oldest have been attending junior college for 2 weeks now. So far, it's good. One is taking Theater Appreciation and the other Psychology. It's been hard to be "hands off" and not nag or cajole about homework, but they seem to be doing OK.
