Just wanted to say hello to the fellow homeschoolers out there. I'm a mom to 3 children 12, 10 & 3. This is our second year of HS and we love it, most of the time LOL! My biggest struggle is not plopping the 3 yr old in front of the television all day UGH! We use Sonlight for history and geography, SOS for LA, Saxon for math and ACE for LA for the 6th grader. My husband is a Chief in the Navy and we've been married for 14 years. I'm excited about getting to know some more HS families and reading about how other folks deal with some of the issues that come up!

Welcome to the forum! I always like it when I see new names come up on here. Homeschooling with a 3-yr-old in the family is definitely a challenge. I would think it might be more-so since your other children are so much older. Mine are all close in age, so I think it was easier for me to just incorporate the younger one into whatever we were doing with the youngest school-age child. I used to have special "school toys" for my preschooler to use only during school time. That helped a lot. Things like puzzles, lacing beads, etc. Maybe you could try something like that.
