Howdy,
I got my box o' Fuel 2 this week and it includes a pretty neat option to have a web log posted each week from one of the High School students in the curriculum, writing in character, about the events of that week's Spark. I would like to use this, but I'm not sure how to go about setting up a student-safe web log. Several of our youth parents are justifiably anti-myspace. And finding one that would work for the group may be a big challenge. Is there any chance this forum could have a place for such a blog where the youth minister could have moderator privileges, or could there be a special Fuel 2 site with such an option. One idea would be for LifeWay to develop a site that looks like a site for the High School (whose name escapes me at the moment) with this kind of content. These are just a few ideas, but the curriculum looks great. We're excited about getting this rolling. Grace and peace, Wesley This message has been edited. Last edited by: WesleyPoston, |

Thanks for your suggestions. We'll look into it.
Meanwhile, does your church have a Web site? I'm wondering if you could set up something there. Maybe someone reading this who has had experience doing this kind of thing could make a suggestion. Another approach might be to e-mail the blog to all your students and ask them to "reply to all" when they answer. That way, they could create an e-mail string that everyone could see and respond to. |
