I posted in another discussion about some things I thought that Fuel was doing well and not so well. I thought we should have a forum to list these out for easy access.

So, what's good and what's not so good?

(I will not repost what I previously wrote but have another idea)

One Files vs. Multiple File
I can understand that not everyone uses every file on the cd's. But it sure would be nice if at the bottom of the list was an "ALL FILES" list. Going back from PDF and word and printing one file at a time is just a pain. (Boy I'm lazy!)

Let me say, I really like FUEL! I think it's a GREAT idea and done really well. Thanks for equipping us with such a great resource!

The bad news is . . . You have to print the files individually on the first four volumes (1.1-1.4). The good news is . . . Starting with 2.1, there is a choice on each session menu that will print all the PDF files at once. The customizable outline and teaching plan files are still separate.

Like the graphics on the new web site and the Quick Time movies, but links take you to pages where content is both not teen oriented enokugh and is too wordy.

I'm always looking at different curriculum for our youth ministry, and came across FUEL online. It looks different, which could be an asset. I haven't purchased it yet, I've only looked at the "Try it Out" sections on the website. The videos are great, but the other resources may be lacking. Not having the CD's in front of me, I can't say for sure. Are the lessons online exactly what is on the CD's? Could someone tell me if FUEL does a good job of helping students apply the lessons? The samples seem to fall short in that they teach something (i.e. "How God Reveals Himself"), but leave it at that. Of course, the teachers can help apply it...but I'm wondering if the curriculum helps them with what they are attempting to get across. What should the students do with the information? Are we just making them smarter? I'm just wondering if FUEL has additional resources that cover application and not just information. Thanks!
