We are in the process of decorating for "Outrigger Island". I am taking photos for the next 2 weeks and will be posting them on my flickr account. I just looked at your amazing pics of your VBS and I am definitely insprired and definitely impressed. How incredibly talented you are.
i have a few questions for you, hopefully you can help.

I am using this VBS as a 10 week program on my Sunday morning as my summer unit for the kiddos. I have 1 large room that I teach from on Sundays and there is another room that I can decorate if I so desire. All other rooms are used during the week for our preschool program. Even the room that I use cannot have items placed on the wall for the summer due to a summer program that is taking place,
So here's my question for you after you have completed your VBS.


WHAT, in your opinion is the BEST Decorations to use?

What I mean is IF You had to choose essential decorations (for a small church) what would you suggest I do?


How can I still make it exciting for the kids with only utilizing one room and a hallway and a smaller room?

What would your advice be for a portable set that has to come down every Sunday?
and what would you suggest that I can use which can attach to ceiling tiles and is portable enough to come down each Sunday and put up the following Saturday?

Also I saw your lattice and we have 2 of those, perhaps I could do something with those?

I am at a loss for decorating can u help?
