The instructions for the iron-ons state to use white or a light color. What colors work well> We do not want white. Thanks!

indyfbc, you can only use each iron-on once, and any crayon works. I used Crayola and they worked very well.

We did ours on white. I have washed my daughter's three times so far. It still looks good. I am very impressed by these. They were great for our AWANA kids. They did them on the last day of AWANA; then they had a cool t-shirt to wear to VBS!
