We just started our VBS on Sunday, and it's going really well so far! This is the 4th year that my sister & I have led the missions rotation during our VBS. I took some pics last night our our room to share with you all here. We have the largest classroom to decorate, as we have 2 groups of classes rotate to missions at the same time, so we need the extra room. We decorated the front of the room in the "Lookout" theme, with a beach/mtn lookout scene, a volcano, rocks made out of brown paper bags, and our pool noodle palm trees. The sides of the room are made to look like a beach scene, and the back of the room we turned into a little beach hut/cabana area for the teachers to sit & relax while the kids participated in the missions activities. I really like the waterfall. Where did you get the super long metallic streamers for that?

I also like the surfboards with the wording on them! We are doing lifesize surf boards and I am thinking this is what I am going to do with them too!

Thanks! I'm not really for sure where the blue metallic streamers came from. Our VBS director gave them to use to use. I'm thinking she may have gotten them from a party supply store. They're the kind that you hang up in a doorway.
